Our Story

Polynomial Studio is a product studio and holding company building AI-driven businesses.

Started by Kartik Raj Rewar.

We believe the fourth great shift in work is here. People once moved from roaming to farms, from farms to factories, and from factories to offices. Now intelligence and networks are changing where value is created, how teams form, and how people choose to live. Work and life are blending into one continuous system. The tools we build in this decade will shape that system for a long time.

We build for the idea space where work and living meet. Our aim is simple. Remove friction. Return time. Widen access. Make useful software that feels calm, fast, and fair. When products respect people, adoption compounds.

We are remote first and location independent. HQ in the United States, operating globally and async. We work with small teams of smart people who ship. Clear writing. Tight feedback loops. Ownership over ego. The truth lives in usage, not in opinion.

We think in decades. Process over goals. Systems over slogans. Results come from repeatable habits, not one-off wins. We design companies the way computer scientists design efficient algorithms. In polynomial time. That means simple architectures, leverage from shared primitives, and learning that compounds each cycle.

The change ahead will rewire the infrastructure of daily life. Cities and housing. Health and mental health. Learning and skills. Money and capital markets. Mobility and logistics. Energy and climate adaptation. Media and culture. Public services and community. Hiring and talent flow across all of them. We focus where practical AI can reduce waste, increase trust, and open real opportunity.

Resilience is a requirement. The world will deliver shocks. Supply chains. Regulation. Energy. Geopolitics. Our products must keep working. We build for graceful degradation, secure defaults, and clear user control. Privacy is not a feature we add later. It is a design choice we make at the start.

Our method is experimental and exacting. Ship early. Measure honestly. A/B tests are not theatre. They are how we learn what helps a person do better work. We keep a bias for clear metrics like time saved, error reduced, and satisfaction gained. If a feature does not move a human outcome, it does not belong.

We invest in shared building blocks that travel across products. Data pipelines that keep information fresh. Knowledge graphs that model real entities and relationships. Retrieval that is fast and relevant. Interfaces that stay simple under load. These primitives let small teams deliver outsized results and keep improving them.

Culture is our compounding edge. We hire for curiosity, taste, and the ability to finish. We prefer people who can cross boundaries. Product and engineering and design and go to market speak to each other every day. We write it down. We keep meetings light. We honor deep work. We do not confuse activity with progress.

We choose partners and investors who value patience and integrity. We say no to dark patterns and noisy growth hacks. We build businesses that can last. Revenue aligned with user value. Clear pricing. No surprises.

Our success measures are straightforward. Did we return time to the user. Did we lower the cognitive load of complex tasks. Did we help people do their best work from anywhere. Did we make the system more resilient than before.

If this view of the world resonates with you, and you want to help, reach out. Investor, advisor, project lead, or builder with a point of view. We would love to talk. Write to kartik@polynomial.studio and tell us how you want to contribute. Let's build what the next decade of work needs.
